Charlotte's life before she
came to rescue
.
Charlotte is a very sweet, approximately 4 or 5-year-old female.  Life started out kind of rough for
her, but she is doing wonderfully now!  She finished all her medications from when she came to us
and is now happy and healthy.  She LOVES people.  She's generous with kisses and just wants to
be around you.  She allows her ears to be cleaned and her nails clipped.  She does not appear to be
food aggressive.  Charlotte has already been spayed.  She loves her crate.  She doesn't really play
with any toys, but she does like treats.  Charlotte does still have some anxiety issues if left alone
and out of the crate, and ultimately chews something she is not supposed to.

Charlotte has attended 2 of our meet & greet public events and has done well with other dogs and
people passing by.

Update  1/29/2009:  Charlotte is still doing great!  She is eating well and a healthy weight.
Charlotte really wants to find a home where she can be happy and loved.

Charlotte would probably be best placed in a home with no other dogs, or at least with
a submissive dog, as she seems to want to be the alpha.

Update 3/26/2009:  Charlotte has made wonderful progress.  She knows sit, down,
come and shake.  She is so eager to please and an absolute love.  She loves to zoom
around the yard, but for the most part just loves lounging around on her bed.  Charlotte
is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own.
Danes.  She's right in the middle and having fun!
