Hope
Available
If you are interested in adopting a Dane from GDROC, please see our adopt page to read
our adoption stipulations and print out an application.
This sweet girl's name is Hope.  She
will be 6 years old in March.  Her
owners simply did not have the time
to care for her any longer and
surredered her to us in her best
interest.  The owners suspected
she was pregnant, but weren't
positive.  She was x-rayed on
Friday, November 11th and 7 spines
and skulls were counted.  The
puppies are expected anytime now
as she is exhibiting signs of being
ready to whelp her puppies..
UPDATE:

Hope finally had her puppies November 18, 2005.  There
are 7 puppies total.  3 were delivered naturally, but after
some complications (her uterus ruptured), Hope had to
have an emergency c-section in which the remainder of the
litter was born.  Both momma dog and babies are doing
great at this point.   To read about them and view more
pictures, please click on their picture.
Dr. Jeff Klemm carefully performed Hope's c-section.
Hope 2 weeks before whelping her puppies.
HOPE HAS BEEN
ADOPTED!

After saying goodbye to her
puppies  Hope was adopted on
January 15th.  Her foster mom
and dad just fell in love and could
not part with her. Yay for Hope!
