Layla (formerly known as Baby) is a
2 to 3-year old female Great Dane
spayed.
Layla had a really rough start in life.
She was pulled from a farm where
many dogs, cats and horses were
not being cared for properly. Her
story can be seen here. She has
made a remarkable recovery and the
wound is almost healed now.
Layla is a very sweet, loving Dane
and gets along very well with little
dogs. She especially loves to play
with the Boston Terrier she has
been staying with.

weeks to 2 months taking care of her wound before we rescued her. This has become a "habit"
for her. Layla will be attending in-board training for 2 weeks to help her break the behavior
habit. This should allow for complete healing of the wound and relieving Layla of the thoughts
that she still has to take care of her leg.
Layla would be best placed in a home with children 10 years and older.
LAYLA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Update: February 14, 2010 --- Layla gets adopted!!
Layla is now in her forever home. Her leg is healing well and we are so happy she
finally has a place to call home. Layla is a sweet loving Great Dane and deserves to
be happy. She had such a rough start and has come a long way since GDROC took her
into our care. We wish Layla all the best of luck!
