Raven is a Happy-Go-Lucky 3 ½ year old Dane with natural ears. She is all black with a small super woman white patch on her chest. She is a big girl, who is full of love and is very affectionate. Raven has been in her foster old Raven playing the submissive role to both the cat and her Dane brother. Raven settled in quickly and before we knew it she was sharing a bed with her brother. Raven gets along well with cats and has done well in meeting keeps on going, not paying the other dog much attention – she is just so happy to be on a walk. Raven came to the rescue not having great leash manners but she has picked them up quickly and now can walk on a leash calmly and without pulling.
Speaking of her potty routine, Raven is house broken and is very good at telling her foster parents if she has to go potty in between trips outside. Raven is fully crate trained and goes in and out without much fanfare.
Raven is a true cuddle-bunny; she loves to sneak up on the bed or couch with you and get as close as possible to cuddle. She has a super soft coat and loves a good pet. She also loves a good game of catch. She faithfully carries around her stuffed toys in her mouth and will tirelessly catch one that you throw to her.
Raven is a bit shy and really relies on her foster parents and brother as a cue for how to act. When meeting new people and animals, she likes to stand back and watch and will approach on her own time. She has met dogs of all sizes and ages and has warmed up to them all. She recently met two puppies and it was obvious that she still has a strong maternal instinct. In fact, Raven gave birth to a litter of 11 puppies earlier this year.
Raven will surely make a great addition to anyone’s home who is looking for a sweet, loving, playful girl who will love you unconditionally – could you be her forever home?
Raven would be best placed in a home with children 10 years and older.
