| We need Foster Families! |
Ruby is a 5-year-old very sweet female Great
Dane. She has natural ears, is spayed and up-to-
date on all her vaccinations. She even had her
teeth cleaned recently.
Ruby is very affectionate and craves
attention. She loves to have her chest and legs
rubbed and will bury her head in your lap. She
is good with children and plays well with the
smaller dog in her foster home. She also lives
with a cat and does well with it too. In the
house, Ruby pretty much is a couch potato, but
outside she likes to run and play.
Ruby will go into her crate sometimes to sleep
even with the door open and also loves to lie on
the carpet when the family is all around.
She is okay on a leash when walking and is good
for her nail trims.
Ruby came in about 25 to 30 pounds
overweight. She is now down to a fantastic 121
pounds which looks great on her! She is
probably in the best shape of her life!
She still has no desire to play with toys but
does like the occasional stick. She loves to be
outside with you. She lounges around most of
the day and has started to lie in the living room
but still prefers her crate. No luck with lying
on a dog bed outside of her crate, she just
won't have it, although she will lay her head on
one if it’s near like a pillow.
