Sprocket
Sprocket is a charming 5 year old boy.  He came to us with a terrible skin and ear
infection, heart worms, intestinal worms, and bleeding calluses on his elbows from lying on
hard surfaces.  After being treated for all of the above, in just one week he has improved
by leaps and bounds.  His coat is shiny, he's feeling good and he has a sparkle in his eyes
now.  He is great with other dogs, however, so far he does not rely on them much for
companionship or comfort.  He adores people and will do anything to please- his tail wags
all the time with the exception of sleep.  He minds well and knows sit, down and shake and
walks well on a leash.   Sprocket is happy to lounge in his crate during the day- he really
loves soft beds.  He doesn't care much for toys of any type.  Sprocket prefers to spend
his evenings sprawled out on his bed in the living room or back up with his rear end on the
couch. He does have a few odd traits- when he's cold or nervous his teeth chatter just
like a person- quite humorous.  He also does not like confrontation with barking dogs- if a
dog comes near him barking or growling he backs away and tries to hide his face.  He loves
car rides and ice cream but more than anything likes to lean and give kisses.  Sprocket's
personality is like no other- He's such a sweet and goofy boy.
