Teo is a 5 year old merle and white male with natural ears. He is great with other dogs and is
curious about cats, but he will not chase them. Teo came from a divorce situation and has been
living outside for the past year. He does however know house manners and will ask to go outside
to the bathroom. Although Teo is not at all destructive when you are around, he has severe
separation anxiety and if left confined somewhere, he will become destructive. If he's left loose
in the house he's fine. This boy is as sweet as they come. He needs a home that can work with him
on his separation issues. He walks great on a leash and just wants to be with people.
UPDATE: 7/28/06
Teo is doing fantastic in his foster home. He has overcome all of his separation issues. He must
go to a home with another dog as he needs the companionship of another canine.
From his foster mom:
"Teo is one sweet fella! He isn't really a barker at all. If he is separated from the other dogs,
he will wail a huge moan.. Being separated from his people is easier for him than taking a dog away
from his family..... This is probably due to the separation of the Boxer buddy in his past home.
Figure he'll do fine if he has another dog that is very calm and secure. He'll follow the dog's lead.
He has good manners and is obedient. He walks on a lead ....His tail never stops wagging and he has
been super w/strangers and kids 10 and up (Haven't had any younger ones around.)
He's really a charmer and a majestic fellow in person. Thought about a new name for him, but none
ever really fit. Teo is a unique name and so is he unique. We call him Tio-Teo (T O, Tay O)"
